Jewish
Story Projects - Resources & Links
There
are several important Jewish story projects with their own special
focus.
The Jewish Story Project - SF Bay Area, is unique by facilitating
family members recording their own stories, supporting them with
a platform for a historical archive, and setting the stage for
project replication in other regional Jewish communities.
StoryCorps is an American non-profit
organization that records, preserves, and shares stories of Americans
from all backgrounds and beliefs. It has collected and archived
interviews with more than 645,000 participants in all 50 states,
Washington, D.C., and several American territories. With participant
permission, a copy of each interview is archived at the American
Folklife Center at the Library of Congress. Segments of select
interviews may air nationally on NPR's Morning Edition.
